Title: Software Test Engineer

Job description
Do you want to contribute to a breakthrough in HMI / Bluetooth connectivity technology for automotive applications? We are seeking passionate and skilled Software Test Engineers in to join our team in Shanghai. You will work together with Program Managers and Software Development Engineers. As part of the test validation team you will participate in the product lifecycle from implementation all the way to production.

Candidate must have a passion for quality and a strong motivation for delivering highly valuable products and solutions. We have a strong focus on designing and developing test strategies to validate functionality, performance, stability of our products. Measuring product quality and fitness is highly challenging and requires ingenuity, innovation and excellent engineering skills.

Responsibilities
?Participate in measuring and driving product quality from inception to production.
?Responsibility for the quality of selected product features.
?Complete scheduled test activities and compile reports.
?Competently report software defects to the software team.
?Reproduction and investigation of known software issues.
?Improve and extend test frameworks and test strategies.
Qualifications
We will give preference to candidates that possesses one or more of the following qualifications:
?Degree in Computer Science or similar field with good results.
?0-2 years of relevant experience.
?Experience with development in languages like C# or C++.
?Strong problem solving skills.
?Working understanding of techniques for testing software.
?Working understanding of usability and techniques for assessing product usability.
?Passion for software quality and for advancing testing as en engineering discipline.
?Ability to work and participate in a team with open and collaborative style of communications.
?Strong oral and written English and Japanese.
