Purpose of Function:

The function contributes to the pricing of all operational supply chain activities and is responsible for reporting on the financial situation to enable an efficient and effective management of the Supply Chain organisation. This includes securing the development and maintenance of all necessary financial controls, tools and processes, the co-ordination between the different Supply Chain units and local Finance organisation.

Purpose of Job:

The main purpose of the job is to facilitate the decision making in the organisation by actively providing reliable information regarding sales, gross profit, costs, stock/stock structure and price development in the Wholesaler and Local Hanim function. Through the financial analysis give directions for a price strategy and secure that the correct pricing/invoicing is done to the retailer.

The job also has to secure compliance with different legislations and has to act as a responsive partner whenever doubts arise in terms of financial issues or uncertainties in different work flows.

Assignments:

- Analyse costs, sales and gross profit results for the Wholesaler & Local Hainm function and explain and act on any deviations.
Produce accurate and timely financial information about the IKEA Supply Chian and its business units’ financial status and performance to enable decisions to be taken relating to the organisation's financial strength and security.
- Recommend and implement changes neccesary to improve the organisations financial performance and financial controls
- Contribute to a fair and correct pricing for the different company functions within IKEA Supply Chain.
- Lead the annual and tertial pricing process ensuring correct mark up calculation are in place to securing the desired operating profit of each unit in Supply Chain.
- Point of entry in Asia Pacific regarding any Calc system querries
- Act as a point of contact with internal stake holders such as Customs, Transport, QSC, Local Finance & Accounting in order to review and improve working methods and porcesses in the Supply Chain focusing on financial matters.
- Secure and develop the most efficient/cost conscious goods/invoice flow.
- Establish, operate and monitor financial controls to safeguard the company assets and to support the organisation in the fulfilment of its business objectives.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of Supply Chain operations.
- University degree in business adminstration or equivalent working experience
- Knowledge of financial processes
- Have a holistic view of the business and be able to connect financial findings with business/operational issues.
- Fluency in English.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in business needs and not hesitant to initate or promote change when there is a business requirement
- Keeping deadlines and ability to work under time pressure.
- Very good command of the suite Microsoft Office (in particular Excel).
- High general understanding of IT systems.
- Ability to develop a knowledge of complex organizations and complex business processes
- Problem solving experience
