The Appconomy Controller will manage the company’s Accounting and Finance functions in China. The Controller will work closely with company management, the US accounting team, and 3rd party accounting-related vendors in China to ensure appropriate management and maintenance of the accounting operations.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Transactions
? Ensure that accounts payable are entered, reconciled and paid in a timely manner
? Ensure that accounts receivable are processed correctly and collected promptly
? Enter Payroll JE in a timely manner and ensure reconciliation
? Process periodic bank reconciliations
? Process weekly Cash Forecast Report and Check Run Report
? Process month end entries – include amortization, depreciation and reconciliation of prepaid expenses
? Maintain the chart of accounts
? Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
? Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
? Define and implement cost control systems, expense reimbursement policies, etc.
Reporting
? Issue timely and complete financial statements
? Recommend benchmarks to measure the performance of company operations
? Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
? Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
? Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
? Provide for a system of management cost reports
? Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Management
? Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
? Work with management team to provide financial modeling, analysis, support, budgeting, etc.
? Manage outsourced functions (HR, Payroll, IT, Vendor relations)
? Liaise with US accounting team and 3rd party accounting-related vendors in China
Compliance
? Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
? Comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
Hiring Requirements Include:
? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
? 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience for a major company or a division of a large corporation
? Direct experience working for a US company
? Strong understanding of financial rules and regulations governing WFOE organizations in China
? Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
? Must write and speak excellent English and Mandarin

? 管理生产的年度预算和预测
? 计算实际运营与预算的差异，向管理部门汇报重大问题
? 提供系统的管理成本报告
? 按需要提供金融分析，尤其是有关资本投资、定价决策和合同谈判
管理
? 维持财会政策和程序的记录系统
? 与管理团队合作，提供金融模型、分析、支持和预算等
? 管理外包功能（人力资源，工资，IT，供应商关系）
? 与美国的财务团队和中国的第三方与财务有关的供应商保持联络
协调
? 年度审计中， 与外部审计人员协调信息规定
? 遵守政府的报告要求和税务申报
职位要求包括：
? 拥有会计或者工商管理的本科学位，或相当的行业从业经历
? 5年以上的逐步负责的大公司或一个部门的会计经验
? 有美国公司工作经历者优先
? 有对在中国的外商独资企业组织的财务规则和法规的深刻理解
? 熟悉美国一般公认会计原则（GAAP）
? 优秀的中英双语写作、交流能力
