Product Merchandiser -- Kidswear

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree from a prominent College or University
More than 3 years in Kidsywear industry with US market experience
Well versed in fabric, garment construction, garment manufacturing
Fluent in English with good verbal and written skills
Construction PC proficiency with Ms Office

Job Description

Quotations, tech packs and corresponds with prospective vendors for price and delivery quotes
Samples Works with vendor, NY product manager and NY sourcing Manager on placing, approving and following up new salesmen sample requests
Negotiates price for salesmen samples with vendor
Places production orders with new vendor
Provide vendor with order detail follow up, review and comment on approval for fabric, trims, lab dips, strike offs fit samples, pp samples and top samples from maker
Recaps vendor costs on a cost recap sheet
Work with Fit techs and designers to get fit comments
Coordinate shipping
Communicate changes and updates in order information with vendor and NY associates
Update ERP with updated shipping information and style info
Quality Assurance Work with Quality Assurance department for lab and sample approval
