Job Responsibility:

Risk Analyst within the Liquidity Risk Control Team. The role requires a good understanding of balance sheet and liquidity risk, ensuring that the risks are adequately controlled and that any irregularities are escalated to appropriate parties.

Risk Analysis and Control
? Daily monitoring of utilisations against risk control and risk tolerance limits
? Investigation and timely escalation of limit excesses to the relevant approving authorities
? Ensure sound understanding of risk profile/liquidity strategies and escalate material risks, issues and vulnerabilities to relevant authorities
? Assist in limit requests – e.g. justification, market outlook, strategy, historical utilisation, impact to liquidity measures, stress loss etc.
? Assist in preparing monthly risk commentaries for senior management
? Improve risk management processes and liquidity risk infrastructure to better control/monitor risks.

New Products / Customer Satisfaction
? Develop and maintain good working relationship with business and support units
? Assist in engaging business and support units in resolving liquidity risk issues

Policies
? Understand liquidity risk policies and ensure compliance with the policies

Others
? Participate in ad-hoc projects
? Assist in any audit related matters


Job Requirement:
? Degree holder in Accountancy /Finance / Financial Engineering /statistics or similar fields preferred.
? Experience in projects/committees requiring use of interpersonal skills.Must be a communicator
? Must be a team player
? Fundamental knowledge of liquidity management and product knowledge. Good IT skills will be a major plus.
? FRM, PRM or CFA would be an advantage
? Good communication and presentation skills in English
