Scopes and Responsibilities

l Carry out SHE programs and policies, mainly focus on safety, occupational health and firefighting. Maintain and update related procedures.

l Be responsible for SDS management. Input SDSs of raw materials into Wercs system and author SDSs and Labels for finish goods in the Wercs system under new GHS regulation.

l Be responsible for standardized safety project. Prepare, coordinate standardized safety activity and get the certificate of standardized safety which required by authority.

l Conduct the present status assessment on Occupational health.

l Conduct emergency response management. Prepare and conduct emergency drills and trainings.

l Perform HSE inspection on site, track timely closure of all corrective actions.

l Provide HSE training to employees, contractors before starting work on site. Implement a refresh training courses including safety, environment, health and firefighting.

l Conduct work safety management and audit for maintenance and construction activities.

l Participate in new project approvals from authority related with SHE.

l Participate in PPE management.

l Participate in incident investigation and provide root cause analysis support.

l Conduct gap analysis for new regulations and laws per quarter

l Conduct compliance audit for tolling production

l Collect near miss report, conduct analysis and track the actions.

l Support approval of raw material, import production and INI. Ensure raw materials and products are all compliance with regulations and laws.

l Conduct MOC management and provide MOC implementation review report per month.

l Liaising with external agencies related with SHE.

l Complete and support other tasks assigned by SHE manager

Competencies/Skill Requirements

l Bachelor’s degree of Chemical or related

l 6 years’ experience, minimum 3 years’ experience on occupational safety in multi-national chemical company.

l Fluency in both spoken and written English.

l Fluency in using Excel spreadsheets, Word, Power Point, E-mail and Internet Software

l Be familiar with HSE standards and systems.

l Be good at team work and communication.

l Government certified Safety Engineer is a plus.
