Mission Statement
Strategic, operational and line management of LPG IEC LV; build up, lead and ensure profitable operation with the motivated staff. The LPG Manager will be responsible for the P&L (and Balance sheet) of the unit and is accountable to deliver results (as per targets).
Main Accountabilities
* Develop, agree and implement BU Motors & Generators business strategy plan. Scope is the previous BU Machines units (IEC LV).
* Responsible for Health and Safety of the LPG.
* Responsible for the integration of new production lines from global BU Motors & Generators to China (ex-BU Machines scope).
* Development of co-operation with internal ABB teams.
Finance
* Ensure a profitable operation in LPG IEC LV.
* Ramp up new production facilities quickly to avoid under-absorption.
Business opportunities, Marketing, Sales
* Build up and retain long-lasting relationships with existing and new customers.
* Customer contacts (high level, key persons) maintaining ABB market name in China.
* Utilize market information and trends for new solutions and business opportunities.
* Drive of the local sales team. Ensure high quality of products and operations processes.
* Grow the business fast, increase ABB LPG IEC LV product Market share.
* Ensure that the all the departments have clear responsibilities, staffing and management. Having weekly and monthly meetings with the team.
* Competence and management development for the team within HR policies.
* Build the team according global BU needs (sustainable profitable growth).
* Train the 2nd tier manager to become more experienced leaders, ready to take over profit center operations.

Requirements:
* University degree in Engineering / business administration.
* 5 - 10 years working experience in management, technical & business development background.
* People developer, good communication, team working & collaboration skills
* Excellent analytical skill and strategic thinking & handling
* Hands-on personality; result oriented, independent and flexible having the commitment to the business and cultural awareness.
* Able to manage the ‘big picture’.
* Ability collaboration with global BU colleagues in Europe.
