Job Description:
A global leader in the design and manufacture of MiFi? and M2M modules and products has an immediate requirement for a Senior RF Design Engineer in their Shanghai, China location. The ideal candidate is an experienced RF Design Electrical Engineer with strong technical, design and organizational skills whose regard for product quality and time-to-market are paramount. Candidate will be responsible for designing and developing RF circuit and sub-system from concept through production. Products are for use in consumer, commercial and industrial applications. This position reports to the hardware design manager and is an integral part of the hardware design team in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

? Design wireless circuits of 4G/3G/2G mobile devices for global markets
? Optimize RF design to meet performance, quality, cost and manufacturability goals
? Develop plans and specs based on customer objectives and requirements.
? Determine RF criteria of bandwidth, noise, impedances, frequency behavior, filters, transformers, signals and amplifier designs.
? Evaluate components and qualify new suppliers
? Work with design team members to prepare layouts, block diagrams and schematics
? Lead design review and mentor junior design and test engineers
? Serve as technical support to Production team on new product launch and solving product issues
? Support Marketing team on application notes, technical specs & catalog information for publication


Requirement:

? BSEE with 8 plus years relative RF design experiences required, MSEE with 5 plus years preferred
? Able to meet deadlines and independently complete design projects from concept to production
? Excellent knowledge in all aspects of RF circuits and sub-systems
? Solid experienced in 3G/2G mobile product circuit design and good understanding of 4G LTE technology
? Knowledge of 802.11 RF testing a plus
? Demonstrated knowledge with RF design documentation, testing and measurements
? Familiar with Cadence design tools and Qualcomm chipset platform
? Excellent writing and good verbal skills in English
? Flexibility to deal with changing priorities in a positive manner
? Willingness to travel as needed
