POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for aggressive revenue achievement in South China region by leading a sales team.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Regional Sales Manager reports to the National Sales Director
PRINICIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
1, Overall responsibility for achievement of annual sales, profit and distribution development objectives in South China
2, Directing distribution development efforts by the TSM’s. Oversight of the TSM’s management and development of the distribution in their territories. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training and assisting TSM’s with distributor prospecting, establishment of new distributors, setting objectives, ensuring distributors meet established objectives, training of sales and management staff.
3, Develop and maintain productive relationships with distributor management and key end user customers.
4, Forecasting of sales monthly on a year to date vs. objective and FY forecast basis.
5,Perform regional competitive analysis to support territory sales planning. Provide competitive intelligence to Sr. VP on product trends, competitive programs and other market intelligence to support sales efforts.
6,Cultivate deep expertise in industrial market segments, especially power, rail, shipbuilding, and specialized industry such as wind turbine manufacturing.
7.Work closely with the broader Greenlee team, including the Endura JV, to identify opportunities and address issues. Actively support the broader team to develop key accounts, market, and segment strategies.
8.Must be a team player and willing to work with others; sensitivity to other cultures and team dynamics are important.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors Degree in a technical or business field plus five or more years of channel and sales management experience.
2. Prior experience managing and developing distributor and end user relationships. experience in the target industries (principally rail, power, and specialized industry) would be a plus, or a strong understanding of the tool industry in China.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities, mature personality are required.
4. Strong verbal and written English skills. Strong analytic ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. Able to develop spreadsheets fro management analysis and control on the territory.
5. Have excellent proven records of performance, Achieving goal for consecutive 3 years
6. Willing to handle 60% of travelling
7. Strong team work spirit needed
