Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree, major in Industrial, Mechanical, or manufacturing Engineering preferred.
2.Good English skill with certain ability in listening, speaking and writing.
3.Two years of experience as a production, manufacturing and QA engineer in a first level factory of OE products.
4.Good communication skill, capable of working efficiently in an independent working environment.
5.Experience in supplier management (Auto Industry Preferred).
6.Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
7.Knowledge of SPC
8.Knowledge of GD&T( Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)
9.Knowledge of Supplier auditing to TS16949 or ISO9000:2004.
10.Adapt to traveling on business in China and abroad.
11.Familiar with metrology and measuring techniques
12.Experience in statistical techniques (Gage R&R, Skewart Charts, Etc.)
13.SDE/SQE experience of OE or Tier 1 is preferred.
Job responsibility:
1.Examine suppliers before delivery of goods; evaluate test results and product performance (dock inspection).
2.Ensure the complete control on the products provided by the supplier (inspection test and PPAP).
3.Carry out product certification inspection and guarantee the result meet relevant requirements.
4.Provide assistance in new product launch stage and PPAP on quality and timing perspective.
5.Coordinate and correct various actions and guarantee timely implementation of the work.
6.Provide field support in the case of important quality problems and participate in corrective actions to identify the root cause, and set up the action plan to follow up on regular base.
7.Lead the problems solution by communications in oral or written form with team effects.
8.Prepare monthly work report and supplier visit report.
9.Take the leader for functional supplier risk assessment and track action plans from supplier audits and assessments
10.Perform process audit at supplier location and interpret result to improve process at supplier location to increase productivity, quality and lead-times, as well as track results.
11.Assist Global Sourcing Directors in identifying and assessing potential suppliers per Affinia requirements.
12.Perform task and duties under the direction of Supplier Development Manager.
13.Main quality interface between supplier and Affinia Procurement/Engineering Department.
14.Develop long term relationships with suppliers in conjunction with LTA developed by sourcing managers.
15.Review supplier processes and benchmark to best practices.
16.Work with Global sourcing team on VA/VE or kaizen event to reduce cost and improve quality of product
