Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Job Location: Shanghai

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

1. Define, design and debug hardware solutions for STB and digital video surveillance products.

2. System design includes schematic capture and PCB layout guidance.

3. Board level design includes component selection/evaluation, CPLD/FPGA glue logic design coding and prototyping.

4. SDR-RAM or DDR-RAM Memory sub-system design.

5. Design verification includes board level timing simulation and EMI, signal integrity analysis.

6. Collaborate with in-house software development team, ensuring seamless cooperation of hardware and software design.

7. Coordinate efforts with other service organizations within the company to produce high quality products to market.

Requirements:

· BS degree with 5 year experiences or MS degree with 3 year experiences in high speed (200Mhz+) complex digital and analog board level design and system bring-up.

· Worked with CPUs such as X86, 68000, MIPS or ARM embedded CPU.

· Completed DDR, SDR Memory sub-system design.

· Experienced with STB, video graphic and/or audio boards.

· Familiar with Xilinx or Altera FPGA.

· Possess strong communication and written skills, and ability to carry schedule from prototype stage to production release

· Knowledge and technical background in one or more of the following standards is necessary: PCI bus, USB, ATA bus, IR, UART, SmartCard, 1394, Ethernet and ISO9000 procedure.

· PCB design and PCB OEM interface

· Good communication skills and self-motivation!
