Job Responsibilities:
1) Planning, designing, implementing and maintaining DB systems (SQL, Oracle)
2) Collaborating with systems analysts and developers to design appropriate technical solutions for business data requirements
3) Establishing and maintain security and integrity controls
4) Defining and implementing operational support procedures including backup and recovery
5) Partnering with various teams to setup policies, procedures and standards relating to database management
6) Administrate all storage infrastructures including physical and logical architecture, SAN based storage, Fiber switches.
7) Regular operations on storage system, such as LUN creation, snapshot and snap mirror check and performance/statistic logs review.
8) Support VMware system administration to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility and recoverability of data.
9) Support in the operations on AD to ensure the availability and integrity: maintain user authorization, AD groups and group policy, etc.
10) Performing operational support, which includes troubleshooting and performance analysis and tuning in the related working domains
11) Maintain technical documents in architecture, configurations, changes and issues.
12) Perform various tasks/projects as required
13) Provide subject matter knowledge and problem solving abilities, acting as a communication focal point with other infrastructure teams and corporate ITS team for relevant projects.
14) Where necessary, provide end-user training and support through verbal and/or written communications.

Education and Experience
1) Bachelor degree in computer science or related business degree or equivalent education and experience
2) At least 5+ years working experience in IT infrastructure team of a MNC environment.
3) Expert level knowledge and hands-on experiences in a heterogeneous environment, the below are major technical skill set for this role
4) Major database systems, MS SQL and Oracle,
5) Netapp storage solutions
6) Windows server, AD and Linux server administration
7) VERITAS/Symantec Backup/Recovery solutions
8) VMware Virtualization solution
9) Certifications in Database(MS or Oracle), Netapp storage or VMware are considered a plus

Other Skills and Personal Attributes
1) Some working experience of project management in a large enterprise environment
2) Ability to describe, create and manage system documentation, including standard operating procedures, and routine status reports; and script development, testing and implementation.
3) Willing to learn new knowledge/system and quick learner
4) Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
5) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
6) Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional team environment.
7) Strong written and verbal communication with solid presentation skills are an advantage.
8) Excellent time management skills, and able to prioritize and proceed multi-tasks.
9) Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines)
10) Fluent English speaking is an advantage.
