JOB DESCRIPTION
IT Infrastructure & Services Manager –will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure and desk support services to Praxair business entities in CHINA. This critical and complex infrastructure includes networks, servers, storage, databases, disaster recovery and all associated hardware and software. The IT Infrastructure Manager will work collaboratively with our internal clients and corporate to develop and adhere to SLAs and SOPs; he/she will also develop and execute strategic plans to ensure that IT infrastructure is proactively managed to provide maximum value.

Job Responsibilities
1) Architect, implement, operate, manage, and integrate enterprise IT infrastructure systems in CHINA.
2) Provide the expertise and guidance to peers, leadership and associates on the overall infrastructure architecture.
3) Oversee Infrastructure projects to meet the requirements in schedule, cost and quality.
4) Ensure maximum availability of IT systems throughout the company.
5) Provide technical IT expertise to the selection of new hardware and software platforms which assists in attaining the enterprise architecture principles, policies and standards.
6) Develop and maintain SOP of various technical supporting
7) Document the infrastructure architecture environment and procedures to insure infrastructure remains cost effective, efficient, and of high quality.
8) Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, IT security and telecommunications.
9) Propose, agree and deliver IT desk support services to around 30 locations and 1300 end users with a defined Service Level Agreement.
10) Assist in developing and maintaining IT policies, standard and disaster recovery plan.
11) Provides regular reports on infrastructure/services performance as well as forecasts of future utilization and equipment/line requirements.
12) Manage IT infrastructure team and provide ongoing mentoring and training, effective communication of operational issues, plans and status throughout the team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1) Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
2) At least 8 years working experience and 4 years at Infrastructure management position in a large scale MNC environment
3) 5+ years working experience in managing multiple projects in parallel
4) Demonstrated 3+ years working experience in people management and strong mentoring skill
5) Excellent communications skills both orally and written. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
6) Strong knowledge and hands-on experiences in:
Windows server, AD and Linux administration
？ Lotus Domino
？ Major database systems, MS SQL and Oracle
？ Network, MPLS , VPN, CISCO routers, switch, WIFI Controller
？ VERITAS/Symantec Backup/Recovery solutions
？ SAN and Netapp storage solutions
？ VMware Virtualization Solution
？ AVAYA Telephony system
？ Security architecture and Anti virus
7) Strong working experiences in IT services management
8) Extensive experience in vendor management and service outsourcing
9) Some professional credentials in relevant technology (such as MCESE, CCNP, etc) and management (PMP, ITIL) are considered advantage.

3) Strong written and verbal communication with solid presentation skills are a must.
4) Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-tasks
