Job Description:

- take the lead in supplier qualification, requalification, quality surveillance, process and product audit;

- be the technical focal point for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance;

- provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance with raw material specifications;

- drive the supplier quality improvements through corrective actions and preventative actions;

- active supervision of supplier quality agreement implementation;

- dynamic participate in tracking of purchasing order fulfillment;

- continuous engage in monitoring of raw materials incoming quality;

- chief liaison for raw materials nonconformity and disposition;

- proactive to identify and alert supplier quality risks;

- initiate trainings for supplier quality related procedures/seminars;

Qualifications:

- bachelor degree in mechanical, chemical, environmental or material engineering;

- hands-on experience in manufacturing supplier quality management under ISO 9001;

- ability to work in cross-functional, global team environment with good teamwork spirit;

- excellent communication and interpersonal skills with different levels of people;

- focus on details with high sense of responsibility, result oriented and proactive attitude;

- capability of capturing engineering drawings and related technical specifications;

- knowledge and experience in drinking water treatment units inspection are preferred;

- technical background of plastic parts injection molding preferred;

- competency of certified internal and/or external auditors preferred;

- passion for excellence in high integrity, commitment to continuous quality improvement;

- fluent in oral and written English, willing to take frequent travel;

- creative ability of troubleshooting and root cause analysis;

- ability to deploy proper quality statistic tools as needed;

- good computer skills, specifically proficient at MicroSoft Office suites, etc.;

- amenable, self-motivated and tenacious to cope with stress and frustration;
