Objective:

According to the guidance from supervisor, the agreed production plans, allocate the resources and duties, organize, implement, monitor and adjust the general production activities to conduct production tasks in regards to EHS-Q regulations and guidelines, including guiding the production activities through the production superintendents and the shift supervisors.

Main Tasks:

1. Production arrangement: responsible for production activities, including trial production;

2. Supervise the production requirements (detailed planning of production based on S&O-planning, compliance with cycle-times per work-step, etc.);

3. Production process monitoring: together with technology team, review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specification, and operating or production problems. Report to supervisor any major problems and if time allows, obtain approval before major corrective action/modifications taken; Identify and clear nonconformities, operating and production problems, strive for process improvements; Maintain walkthroughs in production plant to ensure early diagnosis of abnormalities and initiate timely corrective actions; Review and analyze production rate and yield. Analyze production data concerning cost efficiency;

4. Quality Control: Review and analyze product quality data together with chemist engineer;

5. Support in root cause analysis. Assist in customer and supplier audits; Supervise personnel's adherence to QM procedures;

6. Organize updating of Production related procedures, documents and guidelines (e.g. EHS Operational and Analytical Manual, PID, Process parameters list, Logic diagrams);

7. Maintenance and repairing: Interface and consult with asset engineer and maintenance staff to maintenance and repairing schedules, actions, including modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products;

8. Improvement of efficiency: Interface and coordinate relevant departments (e.g. production control, technical/process, logistics, purchasing, utility supply, etc.) to ensure sufficient supply of raw materials and to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment;

9. Production documentation: Oversee the administration (compilation, maintenance, updating, retrieval and distribution) of production data to ensure an updated database in an easily assessable (integrated computerized) system. Provide updated records/data to relevant parties, e.g. logistics and production control, to support a smooth cooperation and effective communication among all relevant departments;

10. EHS: According to corporate, company and statutory EHS requirements, implement the relevant health, safety and environment protection policies and procedures by seeking consultation from internal and external EHS experts, including enforcement in the observation of all company’s operations, safety, ecology and housekeeping guidelines to maintain a working environment that supports work safety and production activities;

11. Production Excellence: support and initiate production excellence activities (Lean, root cause analysis, etc.);

12. People management: Be responsible for the general management of production manpower, e.g. staffing, performance appraisal, motivation, training in the department. Conduct hearings to resolve or effect settlement of grievances and consult Human Resources function as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor or above, Chemist or Chemical engineering;

2. Working Experience: 8 years with at least 3 years in operation management;

3. Technical and Professional Knowledge: influent English skill and computer skill, good communication ability and interpersonal understanding, strong leadership.
