KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide automated and manual test and measurements to support the introduction of new photonic products, improves and documents existing systems and processes, and transfers systems and processes to contract manufacturing facility.
- Need to become most familiar with our production test systems and procedures to recommend improvements and implement them through formal experimentation, analysis and documentation.
- Responsible for implementing new test system architectures, develop and modify existing test recipes and review product specifications to derive test approaches.
- Required to design and develop new rack and stack test systems including optical, electrical, instrumentation set-up, optical fiber interconnects, installation of SW application, and database communications.
- Help design engineering and troubleshooting, help on cost reduction activities or new components introduce.
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS: ("R" Required, "D" Desired)
- BS/MS in Physics, Computer-, Electrical-, or Optical Engineering .(R)
- At least 3 years experience with optical test systems and design or test experience on transponder/transceiver product. (R ).
- 40G/100G coherent transponder is preferred.
- Good knowledge in fiber optics and optical communication; Proficient in LabView, Visual Basic.( R ) and C language.
- Proficiency in test instrument automation and be familiar with IEEE-488 and IIC.
- Familiarity with Database software (Access, SQL, Oracle)(R)
- Proficient in BERT and preferred with experience in OSA, Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer and Oscillograph(R)
- Ability to perform statistical analysis of test results highly desired (D)
- Be able to work independently with little supervision. (R)
- Proficiency in all aspects of English and Chinese language. (R)
