Merchandiser, Accessories Development

JOB PURPOSE

To work in a merchandising team, activities including accessories development, sourcing, follow-up, and liaison with buyers in Australia and interact with all other functions in our Sourcing office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of apparel accessories.
• Sampling and sample approvals,
• Order Receiving & pre-production meeting with suppliers
• Bulk production, inspection & shipment tracking
• To escort business units in sourcing trips whenever required
• Update & Prepare required sampling & production reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in accessories development, e.g. tie, scarf , belt, badges, cufflinks and bags experience is essential
• College Degree or above with at least 3-4 years development working experience
• Knowledge of factories sourcing and product development
• Good in spoken and written English Communication
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills. Strong process orientation
• Responsible and responsive. Enjoys challenges and possesses “can do” spirit
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work under pressure.
