The Story of Lifestyle & Clothes begins back in France in 1997. Two friends, Christophe and Jean-Charles were still celebrating the birth of each of their first borns, daughters when they gleefully declared that they will go into business together in an industry familiar to the both of them, the apparel industry. Although Christophe was an avid sports enthusiast, they did not decide to put their energy into making sportswear. Despite the fact that Jean-Charles was a fashion icon back in his day, they did not pursue the development of sophisticated menswear. Instead, with the most important people in their lives now being their wives and daughters and soon second daughters, they jumped four feet in to the women’s apparel industry. Inspired by their families, the men set their life purpose on making fashionable and affordable styles that will make all women feel beautiful wearing.
Fed by their can-do spirit and supported by their growing families, the company grew from their small operation in Lille in 2001 into a large team expanding out to the French capital of Paris where they distributed high quality fashion at a low price to the European market. They traveled far and wide to seek out the best materials traveling to India, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Turkey and China. Witnessing first hand the large displays of colors and the array of textures offered by each individual country, their excitement compounded. They knew what they must do next which is to go where the action is. Celebrating the arrival of each of their third daughters, the duo followed their heart (or maybe it was the women’s intuition rubbing onto them), and landed their business in Asia in 2003. They began building their operation in Shanghai and by 2005, they had set up a rep office in China. Lifestyle & Clothes introduced designers to the team, who are out-of-their minds talented, and began exporting their collections to Europe.
Today, based in Shanghai, China, Lifestyle & Clothes ltd. is a global trading company specializing in the design, sourcing and timely delivery of women’s ready-made apparel. As of 2012, Lifestyle & Clothes has become a wholly owned foreign enterprise and is one of the industry’s best lady’s garment supplier to customers around the world.
Today, L&C’s main focus is on making the most fashionable women’s clothing while providing cost-effective solutions that deliver a satisfying buying experience to its customers every time.
