Purpose of position:
Develop and manage a asian supply chain initiatives and activities for commodities in accordance with the business strategic requirements.
Be responsible for coordinating commodity-sourcing strategies worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Create a global supplier base. Meet financial targets set by company's senior management.
2. Responsible for the suppliers overall performance. Negotiate global pricing, credit limits, and payment terms that are favorable to the company
3. Evaluate value proposition and competencies, recommending the most desirable suppliers.
4. Implemented the Supplier Development Programs and used it to enhance the supplier's performance
5. Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement.
6. Harmonize local plants purchasing activities.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in engineering field.
2. Specific expertise in Metallic commodity: machining, stamping, die casting, forging parts.
3. Work aggressively & independently and have strong negotiation skill.
4. Marketing skill preferred.
5. People management skills are necessary to work with counterpart in outside of China.
6. Working knowledge of Supplier Evaluation, Supplier Management, and Supplier Development techniques will be considered as mandatory.
7. Fluent English in speaking and writing is must.
