Founded in early 2010, ICONA Shanghai brings together some of the best European design, engineering, modeling and prototyping experience in the automotive sector for the benefit of its customers in China and Asia.
We are currently recruiting for various Design positions worldwide: Designers, Junior Designers, Senior Designers and Lead Designers for long-term positions in China.
ICONA Shanghai is the first European design house based permanently in China. Created in response to growing demand from the Chinese automotive sector for projects to be carried out close to their location, ICONA Shanghai is unique among European design studios.
Projects are challenging and very diverse, providing a rare opportunity to cover the full scope of the design process, with quality and methods of the highest European standards.
We are now looking for interior and exterior designers at all levels for permanent positions in Shanghai.
Senior Designer / Lead Designer
The following attributes are required:
- Talent and creativity
- Passion for design
- Innovative and fresh ideas in diverse design fields
- Strong sketching and rendering skills
- Strong ability in Photoshop
- Alias knowledge with clear understanding of 3D
- Capable to develop 3D through clay with the clay modelling team
- Understand vehicle construction, respect technical instructions while
defending the design
- Able to work as part of team and take a lead on assigned projects
keeping fluid communication at all levels
- Good presentation skills, able to handle design presentation and reviews
- Fluent English (working language)
The following attributes would be an advantage:
- Working knowledge of Alias
- Knowledge of other media (Corel Painter, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.)
