ASSIGNMENTS:
- Serve DS Songjiang with transport booking and customs clearance for all in and out delivery according to DS slot times and vessel arrival / departure time
- Serve retail Asia with 100% quality information regarding incoming transport
- Serve retail Asia with transport accordingly to slot time in the stores
- Serve retail Asia with haulage transport
- Be the focal point to our carriers (land / ocean / rail) to solve daily issue
- From a long term, handle all booking in China
Requirement:
- Interesting in the transport planner job
- Minimum with 2 years working experience in transportation operation related areas
- In depth knowledge of delivery process and the actors within the transportation (sender, carrier, receiver)
- Proven knowledge of the transport industry
- High computer literacy from a user perspective
- Fluent in English, both in written and spoken

With the movement of the head office from Singapore to Shanghai in July of 2007, Distribution Services Asia Pacific (DSAP) have undergone a rapid expansion, growing from 70 co-workers to over 500 staffs nowadays. Today DSAP supports 28 stores in Asia Pacific with 4 Distribution Centers.
Business achievement
FY08 we have seen great results and achievements in many areas in DSAP. Our handling costs per m3 improved again and ended well below target, in transport we managed to slow down some cost increase despite the very unfavorable fuel/oil cost development and direct deliveries/total lead time has had some long awaited break troughs.
We as organization also continue to grow and recently we opened a new high flow DC Yatomi in Japan. Soon our new high flow DC moorebank in Australia will be open. Shortly it’s followed by the opening of the low flow DC Fengxian in China and the full implementation of new goods flow strategy. Also in the areas of IWAY, quality and customer availability we have better results than last year.
