Our client is a Euro-American manufacturer of snowmobiles, ATV, and neighborhood electric vehicles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the company efforts in developing and executing plans that meet or exceed sales and distribution objectives for China.
2. Lead the distribution network development, acting directly on all related activities.
3. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve the company wholesale and retail sales objectives.
4. Monitor and report competitive activity and recommend sales/promotional strategy response; assists General Manager with strategy/policy development and administration.
5. Identify and prioritize open points; conduct market output analysis, PMA development, and prospects.
6. Manage China Sales and Marketing, supporting press events, International Dealer Show, regional Dealer Meetings, etc.
7. Lead growth initiatives and commit to sales volume and market share expansion in all businesses.
8. Launch new product lines.
9. Lead development and implementation of brand/go to market strategies that differentiate the brand, ownership experience and products in the marketplace.
10. Maintain effective communication strategy with employees and key customers
11. Assist International product development team with specific China market product development.
12. Identify key distribution strategies and other means of increasing business.
13. Establish timely reporting of competitive activity, new markets and trends, and other market factors which impact sales.
14. Manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
15. Oversee and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
16. Establish and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE / POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum 10 years sales experience, 4 years minimum sales/marketing management experience.
2. University degree required in business, sales, or related field.
3. Strong positive leadership skills; strong communication and motivation skills.
4. Financial acumen.
5. Understands local laws and regulations applicable to motorcycle related industries and distribution channel required.
6. Experience and/or thorough knowledge of working within FCPA guidelines
7. Strong external focus and excellence in building and maintaining relationships.
8. Experience working with or knowledge of Powersports distribution networks a plus.
