DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. In charge of common business logic and API sets development
2. Plan, Develop and Test features in Agile Development Cycles
3. Work with App Developers to fulfill needed interfaces / services
4. To track and stay with the most current application development of Lexis Advance from developer SharePoint regularly
5. To download and review the latest sandbox to keep pace with the latest New Lexis development structure
6. To get knowledge transferred from US team in terms of application architecture, components, coding structure and development process
7. Review the functionality requirements and the development tasks that have set out in the project plan. Plan and manage corresponding technical solutions base on business requirement of Asia Lexis Advance
8. Performing software development activities includes coding, testing, debugging, infrastructure setup and documentation etc.
9. Conduct code review to identify problems periodically as each major feature is added.
10. Assist product manager and system architect to develop a thorough knowledge of Asia New Lexis product strategy and goals.
11. Open to provide consultancy in developing new operations, features, contents and interface. Able to consider deep level of system integration with existing system and long term strategy maintainability and expandability.
12. Contribute to the identification and adoption of new tools and technologies to promote China Online systems, strategies and requirements.
13. Technical escalation point of customer issues.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE / POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Four or more years of experience in developing commercial software and websites using Microsoft .Net framework and tools, including Visual Studio 2008, ASP.Net 3.5 using C#, ADO.Net
2. Has a solid foundation in software development and independent problem solving skills
3. Have good communication, presentation and analytical skills and a strong ability to learn
4. Familiar with REST / Service orientated architecture
5. In depth knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, Workflow Development and Client-Side Scripting
6. In depth knowledge of relational databases, and familiar with Microsoft SQL Server
7. Preferred with Agile Development experience
8. Preferred with full-text search experience
9. Went through at least 2 full software development lifecycles, dealing with multi-tier and service-orientated software architecture.
10. Experience dealing with XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and XSL
11. Experience with Microsoft common design patterns and best practices
12. Experience with UML design diagramming
13. Experience in creating and maintaining high and low level design documentations
14. Experience in SQL database design and stored procedure programming
15. Experience in unit testing
16. Experience in MS IIS web server configuration
17. Familiar with Microsoft programming frameworks including WWF, WPF and WCF.
18. Familiar with JavaScript programming frameworks including jQuery and prototype.
