Job Description

Aspect Gaming, an Internet, mobile, and consumer electronics products and services company, is currently seeking a Cloud Operation Center System Engineer.

Job Summary: The Cloud Operations Center System Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain all the necessary tools and dashboards to administrate, operate, and monitor the mission critical Cloud based production environment to ensure the high service availability, escalate and resolve production incidents, and roll out new releases and updates for our worldwide customers and users.

Skills & Requirements

1.2+ years of data center, network operations center, help desk experience
2.2+ years of experience with troubleshooting and providing local/remote deployment and/or monitoring
3.Capability to write and maintain detailed administrative scripts (bash, Python, Perl …)
4.Experience, knowledge of, or willingness to learn monitoring and notification tools (OpenNMS, Nagios, Zabbix, etc)
5.Experience and knowledge of database servers (MySQL, Redis, Cobar, etc)
6.Experience and knowledge of, or willingness to learn the following technologies and tools
7.Hadoop (Hive and Hbase)
8.Puppet(Distributed Deployment),
9.SNMP monitoring tools
10.Windows Active Directory (User Management/Administration/Group Policy)
11.Common small and mid-market firewalls and security appliances
12.Common TCP/IP services including HTTP, FTP, DNS, and DHCP
13.Strong scripting skills in one of the common scripting languages such as Python, Perl,
14.Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail
15.Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
16.Highly self-motivated and directed
17.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
18.Strong mission critical orientation
19.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
