Job Title: Merchandiser




Reports to: Merchandising Magager / Sr. Merchandiser




Main Responsibilities:



Responsible for daily communications with buyers & vendors, product
development, sample & bulk follow up

Liaise closely with QC / QA related to quality issue from all development
samples to bulk productions and to ensure the goods should be correctly,
completely, meeting quality standard and delivery on time as requested from
customers

Monitor all production process and handle troubleshooting

To engage, coach directly and through subordinate assistant merchandisers,
all aspect of activities involve in the following up of orders, like

To prepare the purchase orders

To prepare the quotation

To approve lab dip, trim, etc.

To maintain the update information in the computer system

To monitor the production and delivery status

To work closely with the vendors and buyers

To collect at least 2 quotation from potential vendors for reference before
order placement

To collect a signed copy of SPO from vendors whom we placed production
orders

To track production status per SPO and report exceptions to immediate
supervisors

To maintain good business relationship with vendors including negotiation
and handling complaints


Plus any other requirements as directed by your Management



Main Purpose of Job



Ensure the ESPRIT products to be produced and delivered in time, best quality
and at low cost in order to support the competitiveness of the brand. Sourcing
production factories that are able to produce according to ESPRIT's
standards.




Skills/Experience



Min.4 years relevant experience

Good connection and sources for fashion fabric & price negotiation with
suppliers both locally & overseas

Able to work with overseas buyers/factories independently

Good command of both spoken & written English/Chinese


Reqyured Qualifications



Polytechnic/TI graduate in Textile/Clothing/Fashion Design
