Roles and Responsibilities (职责):

- This position is responsible for performing day-to-day Supplier Quality and Compliance (SQC) inspections, audits, and ongoing monitoring of supplier raw material receiving, production, inventory management, and Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC) operations as needed to verify Supplier adherence to Lumber Liquidators (LL) policies, product specifications, and to regulatory requirements including, but not limited to: California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) 93120); Title VI, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

- The candidate must be cross-functional and able to work in all aspects of quality inspection as business needs dictate. Products include, but are not limited to: Laminate, solid wood, engineered, bamboo, and vinyl flooring and accessories.

Job Descriptions (岗位职责描述):

- Communicate with related parties including Suppliers, SQC team personnel, Supervisor, and regional Quality, Compliance, and Sourcing personnel as needed to effectively coordinate day-to-day Supplier oversight activities

- Conduct Suppliers’ incoming raw material monitoring activities according to the Company’s schedule, procedure and standard requirements. Conduct Suppliers’ production processes monitoring according to the Company’s schedule, procedure and standard requirements. Carry out Suppliers’ inventory tracking checking from raw material to semi-products to finished products according to the Company’s procedure and requirements.

- Draw test samples at the Suppliers’ facility to include raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished

- Accurately and completely prepare inspection reports and records to document all findings identified during raw material monitoring, production processes inspection, product inspections, and sampling activities according to the Company’s procedure and requirements.

- Conduct other assigned inspection tasks including final product inspections, loading monitoring, etc. according to the Company’s procedure and requirements； and finish related inspection reports per requirements.

- Effectively review and validate supplier documents, records, and production processes to verify compliance with Company policies, Supplier internal procedures, and statutory/regulatory requirements as applicable. Timely, document, track and report identified strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in supplier’s operations/processes that were reviewed..

- With Supervisor oversight, review supplier root cause and corrective/preventive action plans as required. Follow up with Suppliers as required to track corrective/preventive action status to closure including objective evidence of effectiveness

- Establish and maintain constructive yet appropriate business relationships with Suppliers and business partners to oversee and promote Supplier compliance and continual improvement.

- Maintains equipment in good working condition and assures equipment is properly calibrated. Notifies Supervisor if equipment is not in proper working condition in a timely manner.

- Promote an awareness of effective quality control standards and workplace safety to both internal and external stakeholders including Suppliers, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) personnel, and other regional staff

- Report back to Supervisor or regional Quality/Compliance staff immediately for any quality issues spotted on-site. Assist with root cause, corrective/preventive actions, and problem resolution as needed.

Job Requirements (岗位要求):

- University degree, major in wood industry is a plus.

- At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing, flooring factory experience is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint),required.

- Strong math skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

- Have solid quality audit and quality documentation experiences, ISO 9001 auditor qualification is a plus. The ability to develop and maintain strong working knowledge of flooring technical requirements and production processes such as laminate, solid wood, engineered, bamboo，vinyl is required.

- The ability to develop and maintain strong working knowledge of applicable U.S. product statutes, regulations, and voluntary certifications such as California Proposition 65, CARB 93120, TSCA Title VI, California Section 01350, LEED/USGBC, and/or other industry standards/regulations is required.

- Have solid quality control experience including raw material inspection and production processes inspection; and have sampling plan and AQL knowledge.

- Be familiar with production & final pre-shipment inspection procedure. Be able to read English documents and write English reports. Good oral English is a plus.

- Have good communication skills.

- Be able to travel frequently.

- Ability to work alternate shifts, extended hours, and multiple work sites as needed sometimes with little or no notice.

- Maintain and promote the highest sense of quality awareness, work ethics, and sense of responsibility to both themself and to other internal/external stakeholders. emonstrate sound judgment by making effective decisions and being able to support decisions with facts and details.

- Take responsibility for actions

- Be self-regulated, self-driven as well as results-orientated and hands-on.

- Attendance and reliability is extremely important in this position
