Responsibilities

1. Generate pitches
The Business Development Manager shall generate pitches for new projects by 1) maintaining close relationships with existing clients and 2) developing new clients opportunities.

2. Converting pitches into actual sales
The Business Development Manager shall work closely with the agency teams (creativity & design, production, talents & PR) to build presentations and budgets in order to close sales.
The overall look of the presentation and the quality of the wording are as essential as the creativity and thoroughness of the content to differentiate Riviera from its competitors.

3. Project production overall management
Once projects are signed, the Business Development Manager will hand-over them to the Project Management team. However, the Business Development Manager will keep overseeing the production and guarantee the clients agreed-on expectations are met. Once the project is finished, the Business Development Manager will take over again and sell the following events to the client.

4. Manage Business Development Interns
The Business Development Manager should manage the hiring and training of the Business Development Interns.

Requirements

1. Local Chinese with great English skills.
2. Candidates must be passionate about events, about building people’s experiences.
3. Candidates must have strong ppt presentation skills (proficiency in design software is a plus), great mastering of written-English, a synthetic mind, an outstanding attention to details and experience in building Excel budgets.
4. Strong interest for branding, lifestyle, luxury and new trends is required.
5. Sales & Marketing degree is preferred.
6. Experience at international Event/PR/Adv agencies is preferred.
