Job title: Yarn Manager – USA Team

Report to : Department Manager - Textiles

Responsibilities:

1. Take full responsibility of order processing from the beginning to the end, including analyzing the orders with the Department Manager and shipping goods.

2. Coordinate with developing manager to source new yarn products and have video conference with USA clients.

3. Follow up the orders by using ERP System, use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status.

4. Work actively with the samples together with QA.

5. Work actively with risk assessment on yarn and sample quality tests and communicate with suppliers.

6. Be proactive and take more initiatives & solve problems.

7. Ensure effective order handover to supplier to secure on-time delivery and best quality.

8. Keep track of suppliers’production plan to ensure on-time delivery.

9. Keep close contact with the suppliers to know status of orders at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Textile Engineering is preferred.

2. More than 10-year relevant work experience. USA retailer experience is preferred. Minimum 5-year experience on yarn products, such as wool yarn/fancy yarn/etc.

3 Have a strong ability of developing yarn product. (Including wool yarn/fancy yarn)

4. Be familiar with yarn quality and product process, and also dying technique.

5. Knowledgeable of costing, market trends, product safety requirement, textile material, yarn product, QA, and compliance.

6. Good command of written and oral English.

7. Good command of computer.

8. Business minded and interest in fashion.(Especially in color fashion)
