职位描述

RESPONSIBILITY工作职责:


1. Job Purpose Statement

Responsible and accountable for coordinating and monitoring all nursing care service and activities, evaluates the effectiveness of interventions, identifies cost-effective protocols and nursing care paths and implements guidelines for care across all nursing department under the direction of CEO. This includes acting as a liaison between nursing and physicians, as well as other staff and providers/facilities to provide quality and holistic patient care. Incumbent is responsible for managing in staff development, mentoring and resource management in nursing operations.

2. Roles & responsibilities

a) Patient Management 病人管理

i. Coordinates and evaluates patient care services and nursing care activities across SEIMC all nursing department

ii. Monitors nursing care delivery and standards following SEIMC protocols. Ensures maintenance of high nursing standards

iii. Provides guidance/supervision for the Head Nurses, and coordinates nursing education & training for nursing staff

iv. Participates in teaching/coaching staff in the management of patient condition

b) Professional Management 专业管理

i. Participates in nursing policy formation and decision making

参与编制和决定护理措施和制度。

ii. Actively participates and conduct in staff and management meeting provide verbal and written reports when needed

iii. Participates and involves nurses in nursing and quality management committees. Facilitates and coordinates clinical audits, risk management, and QA programs

iv. Promotes a culture of patient safety & quality care delivery by following safety standards set by the Quality Management Department and Shanghai Health Bureau

v. Maintains an effective and open line of communication. Coordinates and participates in routine patient care review meeting and other related meetings as required

vi. Liaises with internal and external organizations in the exchange of information on benchmarking and in the coordination of activities relating to best practice in clinical

vii. Supervises/monitors on-going skills training to ensure all nurses are competent to perform assigned responsibilities in their specific areas of clinical practice

viii. Directs and coordinates activities of nursing care programs. Reviews patient care programs to determine effectiveness in meeting established goals for care

c) People Resource Management 人员管理

i. Assists to orientate and induct new nurses into the organization

ii. Provides leadership, staff development, mentoring and resource management in the overall nursing operations

iii. Developing and implementing training policies, procedures and protocols, incorporating evidence based practice

iv. Develops and coordinates written and verbal education programs for nursing staff and maintain up-to-date records of training activities

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS个人要求

a) Good English language skills-both verbal and written conversant English is mandatory.

b) Highly motivated, self-starting, resourceful and committed to excellence.

c) Positive work attitude and leadership abilities.

d) Professional demeanor and high level of personal integrity.

e) Ability to prioritize and cope with high and varied workload.

f) Good interpersonal skills and competencies in management, supervision and communications with ability to relate well to doctors, patients and other members of the healthcare team.

g) Two yearly re-certification of Basic Cardiac Life Support.

h) Competent in the using of Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
