职位描述
Position Summary
Responsible for implementing and continuously improving the Key Production System (KPS). Incumbent will ensure KPS is fully
implemented globally with discipline that provides World Class results, minimizes variability, and results in the best total value cost.
Integrates production control systems utilizing pull / JIT methods. The KPS manager will be accountable for ensuring that KPS is
implemented as a cultural change and delivers sustainable results by:
? Working as a change agent/coach/teacher with functional leaders.
? Transferring Lean/Problem-solving tools and skills into the organization by ensuring that all site KPS Leaders are mentored
and trained.
? Facilitate the site KPS deployment strategy and report progress.
Duties and Responsibilities
The KPS manager will work with site KPS leaders and site management to implement process improvement strategies that deliver results including:
? Implement & sustain Standardized Work.
? Implement & sustain Stability through Problem Solving and stable production control.
? Implement & sustain Pull throughout the sites from customer to raw material.
? Lead change management activities (create transition plans from current to future state and execute).
The KPS manager will provide expertise to teams including:
? Apply continuous improvement methods such as Standardized Work, Problem Solving, SMED, Pull, Kanban, Jidoka, etc.
? Subject matter expertise in Manufacturing.
? Lead transformational change and work on identifying greatest KPS opportunities across the company.
? Coordinate benchmarking and external analysis as needed.
? Identify and share best practices and external trends.
? Teach and coach others in scientific problem solving and standardized work.
The KPS manager will educate, communicate, and excite the organization on KPS by:
? Promoting best practice sharing across sites and across the company.
? Developing and promoting common KPS Methodology and Language across KSS.
? Providing leadership for Lean knowledge management and sharing.
? Performing other duties as assigned.
? Significant travel (North America, Europe, Asia) is required to support site transformation & cultural change.
