As the QAD system& Progress Database administrator, support QAD environments in Asia region.
- Monitor and optimize QAD progress database Performance;
- Deploy the customizations with the proper approach;
- Daily troubleshooting, resolve the database related issue transferred from the Helpdesk. Document / report issue to the
apps/dev team;
- QAD database backup monitor and execution. Set up Testing and Development environments as need;
- QAD batch job setup and running maintenance;
- Database dump load and index rebuild;
- Prepare required SOX documents;
- Carry out daily QAD system support and maintenance services for sites in China;
- Work closely with the user to resolve the issues and close the ticket;

Requirement
- Must have minimum 3~4 years experience in QAD and Progress Database administration;
- Demonstrate ERP expertise in at least one of the following areas: manufacturing, distribution and/or finance modules;
- Experience in using UNIX / Linux/ Windows /QAD .netui;
- 4+ years working experience in IT area , job experience in auto industry is a plus;
- Must have a good command of written and spoken English;
- Ability to work in a team.
