Job Description

• Conduct audits to monitor compliance with the statutory and in-house food regulations and standards.
• Facilitate corrective action plan response to regulatory and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts compliance issues.
• Liaise with relevant government departments including but not limited to the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration, the Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, the Shanghai Industry and Commerce Administration and the Shanghai Food Safety Commission.
• Accompany regulatory officials during routine and special inspection processes.
• Conduct food safety compliance evaluations and audits on property at a wide variety of food facilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of a vendor/supplier food safety program.
• Conduct audits at food processing plants and other food suppliers to monitor and assess the food safety standards of food vendors.
• Conduct food safety training at both classroom and field levels.
• Conduct complaint investigations and hazard analysis reports.
• Participate in the development and implementation of food safety program policies and procedures as needed.
• Assist in review of architectural food facility schematics for compliance with local regulations and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts standards.
• Provide overall management of food safety issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree or above in Environmental Health, Public Health, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related field. Masters Degree (MS) in Public Health preferred.
• 10 years supervisory experience in a broad spectrum of food safety and regulatory roles with experience in conducting food safety audits.
• Experience in HACCP/ISO 22000 implementation, development and application of food safety standards.
• Working knowledge of local regulatory requirements and international food safety standards.
• Familiarity with architectural food facility schematic reviews.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications.
• Proven task management experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently and also collaboratively as a team player.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively at multiple levels.
