Job Position: Fashion (Womenswear) Designer

Experience: 2+ years designing or assisting closely

Description:

As Designer, you will lead the design team creating seasonal ranges from concept development to sampling / production. You will take an active role in art direction, developing seasonal themes and range planning, working within cost targets

The role is an autonomous position and answers directly to the Creative Director and currently has one direct report.

Fashion Designer Duties & Responsibilities:

· Create, guide and support the overall brand identity.

· Create seasonal inspiration and direction through mood boards and story development.

· Create engaging and original designs that reflect our desire to use innovative materials and techniques while remaining true to our brand vision.

· Design and deliver prototypes, mockups, and final designs for development.

· Develop designs that fit the relevant pricing bands and target cost price.

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years experience in a designing role or working closely as assistant to other senior designers.

· Bachelor’s degree

· Keen understanding of our target market and an ability to relate to design

· Highly skilled in Photoshop, illustrator and other Adobe creative suite applications.

· Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Chinese language an advantage but not essential.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent portfolio showcasing signature past works and visual design

· Interest working with leather

· Ability to work to deadlines and collaboratively in a small team.
