POSITION OVERVIEW: This person will need to handle the video signal processor product in terms of firmware and hardware. The candidate will need to support customer’s project. This person will be the primary technical and applications support contact for some of Intersil's major accounts in the area. The main responsibility of this position is to secure proprietary design wins across a variety of Intersil's business units. The person will also be asked to provide new component drivers and new product definition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Technical support to the company’s sales staff and customer interface from the factory including data sheets, evaluation/reference board design and lab characterization.
? Providing field with application roadmaps and new product expertise.
? Managing design in and design win activities as part of an Account Team.
? Coordinating efforts with the Account Manager and Segment Management to win new designs in the strategic focus areas; managing business issues together with the Account Manager.
? Establishing and building relationships; reviewing product design requirements; developing Intersil applications solutions; perform technical reviews and presentations.
? Developing product definition jointly with customer and product lines.
? Interfacing with the customer’s design and personnel to present Intersil’s best value proposition, future product developments, and solve technical concerns in order to ensure that the customer uses Intersil’s products.
REQUIREMENTS:
? BSEE/MSEE degree
? Good at video technology (analog video signal and digital video data format) and display technology ( TCON: Timing controller, LCD power, LED driver)
? Good understanding for driver writing under different OS ( for example Windows, Android etc)
? Good knowledge on automotive display solution and automotive camera solution
? Familiarity with customers and design in process
? Knowledge of competitor’s products, services and strategies
? Ability to interface with customers and solve customer problems
? FAE team leadership experience would be a strong advantage
? This position is based in Shanghai, China.
