Responsibilities:
1) Uses state-of-the-art Cost Engineering tools like Life Cycle Costing Solution, best-of-benchmarking, etc. to evaluate market orientated cost and price targets
2) Conducts solid cost analyses and assessments of technical solutions/processes in cooperation
3) Develops and validates cost models
4) Conducts cost audits and cost engineering workshops and identifies and implements material and production related cost optimization measures
5) Steers/leads cross-functional teams of Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Controlling in all different stages of the value chain processes and in supplier workshops – Whole project life
6) Develops and implements global standardsand ensures their compliance
7) Develops and maintains Cost Analysis Database including the verification of the documentation and data management
8) Coordinates and ensures global best practice and knowledge sharing
9) Analyzes market practice and trends and verifies their feasibility

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in engineering is necessary;
- 3+ years’ experience with Process Planning or SQE or buyer preferable acquired in the auto business;
- Excellent knowledge about the technology/manufacturing of press parts, tooling, ideally experience in negotiations;
- Structured, self-reliant approach to work; Assertiveness and negotiation skills;
- Good English & Communication skills;
