Position: Business Development Manager, China for D’Appolonia China( member of RINA Group)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promoting D’Appolonia name and service to the potential clients in Engineering Desing and Consulting Services (mainly Enery, Oil&Gas, International Finance Institutions and Transport and Inrastructures sectors);
2. Keep and improve the current contacts in China;
3. Work closely with the HQ International Development Manager and Markets Development Managers, to identify the best Clients and opportunities;
4. Identifying the new business opportunities, pursuing and capturing the new contracts;
5. Negotiation of the contract terms and preparation of the documentation for the final closure;
6. Resolve the conflicts and complaints from the clients and Improve the relationship with the key accounts;
7. Internal coordination for some particular projects;
8. Visiting the Clients on the regular basis;
9. Review of the targets and results with top management, China Manager and other teams;
10. Review of the year result and Proposal of the strategy to improve the company and personal performance based on the target and gap analysis;
11. Review and collection of the late payment from the clients with the accounting team;
12. Forecasting of marketing trend and assistance of setting up the realistic budget for the coming year;
13. Participation of the relevant exhibitions and seminars in China to promote D’Appolonia activities;
14. Attendance of training in order to improve the communication and technical skills.


REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor Degree in related major (e.g. civil engineer);
2. Strong relationship with major local Industrial firms, Energy and Oil & Gas companies and/or Construction companies;
3. Proven ability to capture new customers throughout China
4. Previous professional experiences in International Engineering Consultant Companies would be a strong plus; At least 10 years significant professional experience in similar or related businesses is requested., e.g. business manager, business development manager etc.
5. Fluent knowledge of both written and spoken English
6. Good Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
7. Good interpersonal skills and team player
8. Kindly, honest and reliable personality
9. Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure
