Automation Engineer
Responsibilities
Design automation architectures based on the IO-list, P&ID’s, process description and customer requirements
Communicate with our automation vendors (Siemens, Schneider/Wonderware, Rockwell, IT-hardware vendors)
Break down the automation project in individual sequences and functions
Communicate and discuss proposed solutions with the customer
Write detailed Function Descriptions (FDS) to be used as basis for programmation
Purchase the required PLC’s, PC’s, HMI’s and and licences together with the procurement department
Set up the system and configure all PLC’s, PC’s and HMI’s
Use standard libraries or adjust existing ones
Program all sequences and functions
Configure and program batch- and recipe-management systems
Perform Integration tests
Perform FAT
Perform loop-tests and SAT on site
Control the material and manhour budget of your own tasks and responsibilities

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree, Major in Automation
2-10 years relevant experience with Shneider, Archestra, Intouch or Siemens
Good attitude
Good English
