-For eCar Powertrain System business unit, we are looking for a Hardware Architect, the position will be Responsible for Hardware design including requirement analysis, solution design and supervise the following hardware detial design activities: the schematic design, PCB layout support, design analysis, test and OEM support for Hardware, including the control unit and power stage which used in electric/hybrid vehicle.

What are my responsibilities?

-Understand and analyze system level design requirements working with system architecture engineer.

-Overall specification and concept, hierarchical structure realization of inverter hardware development which applies to both vehicle and motor control.

-Supervise the function block design, ensure the consistency of the entire interface between blocks, the consistency of blocks' performance with HW spec and coordinate the team to work out an optimized solution.

-Overall responsibility to setup hardware design guild line through hardware requirement engineering to hardware integration and commissioning test.

-Overall responsibility to lead team create and implement design methodology, including WCA, tolerance optimization design, FMEA, six sigma, and so on.

-Implement hardware functional safety (ISO26262) in hardware design together with HW funcitonal safety engineer.

-Supervise the HW test implementation.

-Review prior art and investigate solutions to requirements

-Supervise the documentation of development (e.g. Schemtatic, PCB, DFMEA, FTA, WCA...)

-Support Hardware Department Manager on recruiting, training and Performance Review, and so on.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

-Master degree or above in Electronic engineering, specialty in power electronics engineering strongly plus.

-At least 8 years working experiences in power electronics product, such as high power UPS, HEV/EV used Inverter, from international company preferred.

-Strong fundamental knowledge and solid experience on signal and power electronics circult design, analysis,especially for motor control or power inverter control.

-Solid experience and know-how of EMC preventive approach design, familiar with EMC design and improvement.

-Solid experience with circuit simulation algorithms and tools such as SPICE.

-Experience of product requirements in automotive.

-Experienced in motor control or power inverter control.

-Experienced in functional safety (ISO26262) is a plus.

-Fluent English in written and oral English.

-Overall Network skill, team working/communication skills
