HR Manager on site-DCSJ
IKEA VISION, IKEA BUSINESS IDEA, IKEA HR IDEA, GROWING IKEA TOGETHER:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Together with the business managers in the DC/CDC direct and steer competence and thus drive the business forward by: Securing that we always have the right competence at the right place at the right time while providing functional expertise and leadership development.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Business partner on site
? Contribute to local business plans adding value in business decision
? Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and the market.
? Secure, develop, communicate explain and follow-up the HR business plan and relevant actions confirming they support the fulfillment of the global HR strategy.
Leader/manager on site
? Related to IKEA leadership and values, act as a qualified speaking partner for managers regarding how relations, behavior in various situations affect working environment and business result.
? Coach, support and develop the local HR team
Competence Development on site
? Based on the business needs map current competence and future competence needs , analyze competence gap and lead recruitment and development actions from both individual and organizational perspective
? Secure professional recruitment and development processes in close cooperation with responsible line managers to fulfill the need of competence both today and in the future.
Functional expert on site
? Ensure that country-specific and local labor related laws are followed
? Secure that the recognition system (development possibilities, work/life balance, salaries, working conditions, benefits) is followed on local perspective
? Secure the follow up tools (Voice, Business Review, Competence Review, HR KPIs etc.) are
? Implemented, running and appropriate actions are initiated that contribute to defined goals
Assignments common for all managerial functions:
? As a member of the local management group, contribute to the operational excellence and the development of the DC/CDC operation
? Take a lead in more than one assignment, contributing in both your site and your DS area
? Secure necessary information flow through the site
? Create and implement the Business & Action Plan
KNOWLEDGE:
? University degree (Social, Human Resource, Economic) or equivalent in working experience
? 1-3 years experience in the Human Resource field or as a business manager with proven contribution in the Human Resource field
? Basic knowledge of labor laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers…)
? Knowledge about Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits strategy
? Prior experience in Competence Development
? Eagerness to understand the IKEA business and the customers need.
? Fluent in English

? Good ability to communicate in a broad sense within diverse environment
? Sound judgment and the ability to take decisions.
? Ability to “build” trustful relations and commitments with people on different levels
