SOFITEL LUXURY HOTEL COMMITMENTS:

1. GENERAL DUTIES:
i. To be responsible for all guest services activities in the Club Millesime and provides supervision, direction and leadership in the Club Millesime in accordance with objectives, performance and quality standard established by hotel.
ii. Together with the FOM responsible for the general administration and profitability of the Front Office Department. To provide general management support monitoring guest satisfaction, ensure the service quality reaches the Sofitel Brand standard. Establish and maintain a well guest relationship, and ensure a good customer satisfaction.
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Monitor efficiency levels in Club Millesime.
ii. Provide courteous and professional services to every single guest of the Hotel.
iii. Welcome and escorts arriving VIPs and bids farewell upon their departure.
iv. Guest relationship day to day maintenances.
v. Ensure that the lobby and work place is kept clean and in a good atmosphere at all times.
vi. Ensures all employees are performing the assigned tasks with adhering the standards
vii. Maintains record of guest feedback and takes remedial action to resolve problems.
viii. Monitor efficiency levels of all GRO and provide the instruction.
ix. Ensures Front Office staffing deployment appropriate for business volume.
x. Ensures all employees are performing the assigned tasks with adhering the standards.
xi. Ensure that he is aware of all events during the previous shift by going through the AM’s Logbook upon arrival.
xii. Maintain a detail record of all incidents (guest or employee) all finding and other relevant items to the events in the Logbook. Where discretion is required, reports directly to Front Office Manager.
xiii. Maintains record of guest feedback and takes remedial action to resolve problems.
xiv. Coordinates and cooperates with all other operating department and must have strong relationship and interaction with all hotel guest, visitors and members of the local community.
xv. Attends meetings as required with the Front Office Manager.
xvi. Ensures there is a healthy and strong communication link between the various Front Office departments and other department.
xvii. Ensures briefings and shift hand-over are carried out in a professional and regular manner.
xviii. Ensures the lounge and meeting room is ready, clean and all arrangement is placed prior.
xix. Responsible for adhering to Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental staff rules and regulations as detailed in Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental’s staff handbook.
3. COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Maximize every opportunity to increase revenue.
ii. Ensure that all staff is aware of current rate structure in Club Sofitel.
iii. Ensures all club personnel are aware daily on the availability of rooms.
iv. Ensure the attainment of occupancy, ATR and revenue targets so as to achieve maximum room yield.
4. HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Provide assistance and feedback for Performance Appraisals of Club Millesime employees in coordination with Front Office Manager.
ii. Ensures all staffs is always properly well groomed by maintain standards conduct.
5. HEALTH, SAFETY AND HYGIENE Responsibilities/Duties
i. Safety. Ensure safe working practices.
ii. Adhere to the safety procedures.
iii. Full knowledge of emergency procedures.
iv. Always check on equipment, steam pipes, lint, etc.
v. Health and Hygiene.
vi. Make sure all equipment and area are cleaned.
vii. Ensure compliance to grooming standards as documented in Employee Handbook.
Qualifications:
? Minimum of 2 years same position experience, preferably in the luxury setting
? A strong understanding of Club Millesime Manager
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Ability to Club Millesime Manager
? Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
? Computer skills (word processing and spreadsheet)
