Pre-Sales Applications Engineer, Asia Pacific

Pre-Sales Applications Engineer, AP ensures application knowledge transfer to channel partners through on-going communication, technical sales support customer visits and training. Offering the best “solution” to customers is our corporate goal and is also the key on closing sales, Application personnel plays a vital role in the organization. Applications Engineer also ensures high quality support on Benchmark printing & marketing activities of channel partners and that all printed models demonstrate top notch quality of our technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing application support to channel partners demo activities and to ensure all processes are undertaken correctly for successful demonstration
• Ongoing benchmark printing support to channel partners , handing benchmark escalation request by offering the best solution and printing the highest quality benchmark per customer’s requirement & needs.
• Working closely with Applications Engineer of channel partners to ensure all benchmarks are reported with accurate info into the benchmark reporting system (SFDC – Salesforcedotcom) on a timely manner
• Working closely with Applications Engineer of channel partners to monitor competition activities andescalate to management for any new product, new 3D printer entrant or special campaign in the market
• Conducting live demos for prospects
• Provide frontal technical sales support to channel partners visiting prospects and assist on offering the best solution to customers and advancing opportunity to close sale
• Marketing Support – supporting corporate as well as channel partner’s marketing events
• Ensure proper field implementation and testing of existing & newly sought post processes from Headquarter (Israel and/or USA)
• Assist and support training team on product training, sales training and coaching program if needed
  

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

• BSc in Engineering (Mechanical is preferred)
• Good technical understanding of multidisciplinary equipment
• Experience in Rapid Prototyping /Manufacturing environment and Pre-sale is an advantage
• Good analytical skills using Excel pivots to conduct follow up and field analysis
• Experience in CAD/CAM strong mastering of CAD (mainly SolidWorks) and STL files handling (Prefer Magics)
• More than 5 years working experience
• Good presentation skills
• Fluent English and Mandarin, good command in writing
• Team player ,energetic, creative, independent, detail-minded with good problem solving skills
• Good communication and listening skills for interfacing with internal & external customers
• Multi- tasking and ability to correctly organize & prioritize workload
• Travel Time 30%
