Change Management Engineer – Job Description
Location: Shanghai / Changshu, PRC
Main Objectives:
Working for a Global Automotive OEM the successful candidate will have expertise in Change Management Engineering and all related coordination tasks to ensure quality and timely implementation of changes.
The successful candidate should have good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and have previous knowledge of data manipulation using Microsoft Excel.

Main responsibilities:
-Management of Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Orders and their connections with other related business processes such as change window, change deviations and issue resolution management.
-Coordination and setup of regular meeting structure to manage new Change Request submissions to the Program team for approval.
-Coordinate and facilitate meetings with design responsible teams to track progress and implementation of change.
-Track and monitor all approval steps in the change process to ensure timely release and approvals.
-Creation of reporting metrics for both Change Request and Change Orders to monitor overall process performance.
-Participate in Break Point meetings to ensure that coordinated changes are implemented in the correct sequence to avoid impact to plant.
-Communicate the Release Status and Process to the Program team.
- Liaise with all business domains such as Engineering, After Sales, Manufacturing, and Logistics to resolve master data issues.
-Continual improvement to the overall process.
-Change Request administration and filing.
Essential Skills and Experience Required:-
-Expert knowledge and understanding of Change Management within an automotive environment.
-Expert knowledge of change implementation into plant including all of the relevant inputs, i.e. APQP, Logistics, Trial Builds etc…
-Good knowledge and understanding of bill of material
-Be able to work under pressure
-General administration experience Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.
-Excellent communication skills in English
-Preferred communication skills in Mandarin also, but not essential.
-Knowledge of Enovia V6 / Matrix One and Engineering Central preferred.

Education Required:-
-Technical Degree/Certificate
-5+ years’ experience within a BoM / Change Management Team
