POSITION TITLE: Engineering IT Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: Manager, Engineering IT

SUMMARY:
Administrate engineering information system.
Customize software and develop new features as per engineering requirement.
Resolve and assist with EIT day-to-day issues.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain PDMS catalogue and specification library.
Develop and customize PDMS functions and features with PML or DotNet.
Set the relevant PDMS environment for projects, including draft representation rules, tagging/dimension rules, ISOdraft settings.
Manage project information system (such as PDMS, AutoCAD, Tekla, ProjectWise and network storage etc.) according to the requirements of engineering teams, including management of user account, access permission and maintain the relative logs, etc.
Cooperate with other FW global offices to administrate the global project.
Assist EIT Manager to develop and implement the strategy of application of engineering software system.
Setup EIT related software for users.
Troubleshooting for regular engineering software issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:
a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
3+ years of related experience in administrating PDMS system, draft and isodraft.
Experience in performing engineering related duties is preferred.

Skills Requirements:
Familiar with Word, Excel programs.
Experience in other engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ProjectWise, Tekla, Ansys, CAESARII, is preferred.
Knowledge of .net programming, VBA and SQL server administration/programming could be an advantage.
Good in written and spoken English.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional travel to other offices and jobsites will be required
