Role Purpose:

• 
  Product Capacity Specialist is Business Partner to Product Capacity Management (PCM) (AFR/OFR)


• 
  Support of PCM related controlling processes

Main tasks & key responsibilities:

• 
  Business Partner to Product Capacity Management


• 
  Measures performance and drives root-cause analysis (COS variance analysis)


• 
  Coordinates planning and forecasting processes (Supply)


• 
  Initiates development of action plans, follows up and monitors implementation/effects

Business Partner

• 
  Facilitates strategy implementation, decision-making process and management reviews


• 
  Proactively identifies trends, opportunities and risks


• 
  Supports Carrier Management process


• 
  Supports internal tariff setting process

Analysis and Performance Measurement

• 
  Measures performance and conducts root cause analysis (cost of sales variance analysis for AFR/OFR, etc.)


• 
  Prepares commentary of performance and critical issues


• 
  Monitors target achievement (carrier adherence, achieved rates, trade lane capacity, total variance, etc.)

Planning and Forecasting

• 
  Coordinates demand forecast received from Commercial Controller with Capacity Management and Service Centers


• 
  Facilitates planning and forecasting of supply (capacity forecast)

Initiation and monitoring of actions

• 
  Participates in required actions and follows up on implementation/effects


• 
  Escalates to Product Controlling Team Lead, where applicable

Qualifications:

• 
  University graduate or equivalent (Finance or Logistics desirable)


• 
  3-5 years working experience, preferably in the field of logistics operations


• 
  Very good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills


• 
  Proactive and able to work under pressure


• 
  Assertive, persistent and able to challenge


• 
  Good presentation and communication skills


• 
  Able to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts


• 
  Team player


• 
  Fluent in English


• 
  Proficiency in local language preferred
