Position: Payment Clerk (one year temp contract)

Job Description:

1. Handle day-to-day operations of local currency payments together with local reports under the guidance of Team Head/Head of Operations, and the regulations of local financial authorities;

2. Check the signatures of customer instructions and ensure test keys are verified by Administration Department;

3. Answer the queries from customer via phone call or e-mail;

4. Handle the incoming and outgoing payment and clearing etc according to the internal operation procedure; Pass the entries in system.

5. Ensure issues potentially exposing the Bank to operating losses or regulatory risks are promptly identified, surfaced and reported to the Head of Operations Shanghai;

6. Check the transactions to avoid exposing the Bank for money laundering purpose;

7. Prepare AML daily report to the local financial authorities and internal reports to branches in time;

8. Ensure all the important payment documents and stationeries are kept properly;

9. Take other operational responsibilities assigned by Team Head/Head of Operations when necessary;

10. Liaise with Team Head/Head of Operations to handle irregular case;

11. Other related duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

1. College/university degree, Finance or Economics major preferred

2. Strong sense of responsibility; careful, diligent and efficient

3. Good command of English in both oral and written

4. Familiar with MS Office

5. Self-motivated and willing to learn, be able to work under pressure

6. Good teamwork and customer orientation

7. Strong interpersonal and communications skills
