Position Overview:
The Marketing Operations Manager oversees all the operational aspects of various on-site programs and campaigns utilizing, GSR, In-house, mixed-use locations and Telemarketing programs in addition to specialty programs from time to time with the aim to generate qualified tours/ leads/ package sales / Day Drives in accordance with budgeted targets established for each of AVC’s Preview Centres.
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
- In conjunction with the VP of Marketing, Group and Directors of Marketing, Area Director of Call Center Operations, Marketing Supervisors and Marketing Team Leaders help to develop a schedule of locations, casual leases, trade shows and exhibitions and strategic partnerships to achieve budgeted numbers in relation to tours/ leads/ package sales / Day Drives.
- Manage all operational aspects of the various Marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders in order to develop qualified tour/ leads/ package sales / Day Drives.
- Ensure we are in line with associated costs of tour delivery, premiums, etc.
- Reviews estimated qualified tour/ lead/ package sales / day drives and provide analysis and potential areas of improvement.
- In conjunction with VP of Marketing, Group Director of Marketing, Area Director of Marketing establishes new Guest Service Representative Regions as required by AVC growth plan.
- Manage Marketing Administrative staff providing training and guidance to continually improve the operational aspects of Marketing Administration (Operations).
- Liaise with Human Resources and Marketing Managers and Supervisors regarding recruitment advertisements for GSR or TM staff.
- Help in Interview and hiring process and/ or provide ongoing training and motivation for new Marketing Managers, Supervisors and Marketing Administration, in conjunction with Director of Marketing.
- Motivate and supports Marketing Manager, Supervisor in accordance with directives set from the Senior Management team to deliver qualified prospects to Company shared ownership presentations.
- Maintain minimum operational and performance targets as detailed by the VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing and Area Director of Call Center Operations.
- Monitor Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Operations / Administrators tasks to ensure operational procedures remain uniform.
- Manage Training Manual as tool to educate Operations and update company procedural changes.
- Manage operational guidelines, responsibilities, role rationale, performance expectations, and distribute to all new and current GSR’s and Marketing Teams.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions with all Marketing Managers, Supervisors and Marketing Administration (Operations).
- Supply and report forecasting information for the Weekly conference call/ meetings.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Performance reviews will be conducted on a quarterly basis and may require coaching programs to enhance skills and overall productivity. This position will be measured against the following criteria:
- Ensure administrative and promotional activity is such to meet the budget requirements in relation to tours/ leads/ package sales / day drives.
- Ensure all administrative and promotional activity is such to meet the budget requirements in relation to cost and sales figures
- Display personal motivation and effort to assist in the smooth operations of the Marketing Team
- Demonstrate willingness to seek new knowledge in the forms of management skills, motivating employees, morale building and sales techniques, through reading, researching and seminar attendance. Attend two training seminars / year and read two related books / year.
- Ensure that AVC operational standards are met in relationship to Team Values and Goals in dealing with internal and external contacts of AVC
- Assist in achieving specific monthly tour/ lead/ package sales as required in the over all project budget.
Qualifications:
- College or bachelor above;
- Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to, active listening, empathizing, problem solving, organized, detail oriented, follow through, and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work as a team player, in a personable and positive manner;
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high volume environment; Able to perform well under deadlines and respond well to an environment of constant change;
- Fluent in Cantonese and English/or Putonghua languages.
- Excellent Office software skills, familiar with excel report system
