Letsface (Shanghai) invites you to join an exciting startup focused on delivering software for events. It helps our customers create amazing events. Guests love it!
You will be joining a growing team of engineers ; develop, maintain and design our range of products, from simple visual web animation to complex admin backend and API. The ideal candidate will be self-taught, self-directed with a strong sense of initiative, be able to propose ideas, implement them and be able to work under pressure.
Requirements:
● Excellent English writing and reading skills, and good English speaking skills,
● Be willing to sometimes work extra-hours and work at the site of events when required,
● 2-3 years experience in system administration
● Bash/Python shell scripting
● Cloud computing (Amazon AWS. Rackspace)
● Linux (system administration, Ubuntu Server or CentOS)
● Nginx, relational databases (MySQL, especially PostgreSQL)
● Virtualization (VirtualBox)
● Know Linux, Android, Windows, MacOS and iOS
● networking commands (dig, ping, traceroute, arp, etc)
● operating systems installation and updates,
● new servers, workstations and interactive displays deployment ○ network health and services monitoring
● security
● Networking (wireless and wired)
● crimp wire (RJ-15, RJ-45) and organize wiring neatly
● setup routers, wireless access points and switches
Other stuff we like:
● Github (Github Issue tracking, Github API, Github wiki)
● Experience using Jira
Bonus points:
● If you have experience with orchestration tool such as Ansible
？？？● If you have experience with Vagrant
