Job Overview:
Works closely with production and design teams to instill quality into the product. Constantly reviewing and improving the design, production and shipping processes. Conducts routine analyses and tests of various components of quality control program comprises of data analysis, systems evaluation, product assessment, and quality technology. Ideal candidates for this position should have significant powertrain engineering technical expertise and strong communication skills with Company and the partner company. Candidates who have overseas projects experience are preferred. By position key functionalities to our company, the role of Transmission/Powertrain QA Engineer has flexible career path and foreseeable future to grow against the backdrop of our global business.

Key Responsibilities:
Verifies incoming parts
Performs the in-process and outgoing inspections
Creates and maintains appropriate Quality Inspection and Non-conforming material records
Co-ordinates the maintenance of inspection equipment
Identifies root cause of quality issues and implements corrective actions.
Reviews supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
Coordinates with suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) to resolve quality related issues and lead root cause/corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Skills and Competencies Required:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher education background preferred
3 years previous experience providing Quality Control support within a fast paced developing/manufacturing environment
Transmission expert with automotive background is preferred. Experience in DCT(Dual Clutch Transmission)is a big plus
Hands-on root cause analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent language skills, including strong English speaking and writing abilities
Ability to work under pressure with excellent team player spirit and creativity
Good understanding of QA methodologies and testing techniques
CAD experience
Attention to detail
Good communication
