Job Description:
Lead and assist with supplier development for the key transmission components such as gears, shafts, and casing etc;
Define tooling requirements, review tooling design and procurement, procure capital, and develop manufacturing process with project team members;
Coordinate development and validation activities for manufacturing process changes and improvements;
Support the purchasing department during the supplier selection and contract negotiation;
Provide technical guidance for co-worker in regards to transmission system function and vehicle system interaction.
Provide technical after sales support to the OEMs

Skills and Competencies Required:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher education background preferred;
Work experience at OEM or Tier1 supplier in power train and/or transmission engineering field;
Able to apply engineering and quality principles in support of manufacturing;
Able to develop and institute cost improvement programs are desired;
Able to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues;
Transmission expert with automotive background is preferred. Experience in DCT(Dual Clutch Transmission) is a big plus;
Hands-on experience and problem solving skills;
Excellent language skills, including strong English speaking and writing abilities;
Ability to work under pressure with excellent team player spirit and creativity;
Good understanding of transmission and testing techniques;
CAD experience;
Attention to detail;
Good communication.
