About the position
Two exciting opportunities have arisen for a Junior Training/Support Consultants to join our Shanghai team. Your main responsibilities will be to prepare and deliver training programmes; support the front line telephone helpdesk and to generally help with the implementation of our pre-clinical software application, Provantis. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate a logical mind; who exhibits excellent problem solving abilities and who can demonstrate that they can aspire to our strong company values. Appropriate training will be provided to the right candidates, both in China and at our UK and/or US offices.
Main Responsibilities
? Delivery of training courses to customers and potential customers
? Preparation of training materials of all types
? Monitoring the efficacy of training & general reporting of activities
? Analysis of training needs
? Responding to and logging of support calls, via e-mail and telephone
? Provision of advice and assistance relating to products and services
? Raising / handling of faults as appropriate
? Reproduction of reported problems and documentation of same
? Liaison and consultation with other departments as both a recipient and provider of information
? Reporting to customers on progress and resolution
? Provision of support / advice at customer sites
? Contribution to Business Improvement initiatives

Skills/ Experience
? Fluent in English, both written and verbal
? Skilled in the use of systems used in creation of presentations and training documentation
? Able communicator
? Confident and self motivated
? Able to project a professional and positive image of both themselves and the Company
? Should be a good listener and show empathy with the clients
? Ability to impact and influence


Qualifications
? You hold a Master’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably including Life Science and/or software development

Additional Information
The job holder must be comfortable with travelling within Asia and internationally as this is a requirement of the position.
